QinetiQ Wins C$51m UAS Contract

May 7, 2019 – QinetiQ has been awarded a C$51m (c£30m) contract to deliver unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) that will drive enhanced situational awareness for the Canadian Armed Forces. The contract will be delivered from QinetiQ’s state-of-the-art unmanned vehicle manufacturing and operational facilities in Medicine Hat. Leonardo Welcomes Decision to Modernize CH-149s

Leonardo welcomes the Government of Canada’s intention to proceed with the CH-149 Cormorant Mid-Life Upgrade Program (CMLU) to be carried out by the Company to deliver a comprehensive upgrade to Canada’s AW101 primary search and rescue helicopter fleet and expand the current fleet of 14 AW101s by up to seven  additional AW101s.
