The Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), in partnership with other Government of Canada agencies and the Canadian Maritime Careers Foundation, is hosting the second annual Maritime Career Fair (MCF) this fall, which aims to connect with Canadians and showcase maritime career opportunities at sea and ashore. The Fair, which is free to attend, will be held in cities across Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador, beginning in St. John’s on September 6 and 7.

The Maritime Career Fair is an opportunity for Government of Canada agencies and other marine industry employers and institutions to showcase career and educational opportunities in the maritime field. This year, Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships (HMCS) Goose Bay and Harry DeWolf and our team will be making stops in eight cities in Atlantic Canada along the St. Lawrence Seaway and Lake Ontario.

Canadians will be able to tour the ships, meet with sailors who pursue these challenging and demanding careers, and take part in activities on board and ashore.
