On July 7, HMCS Regina departed Esquimalt for Operation LIMPID in the North Pacific and Arctic Oceans.
Through Operation LIMPID, the Canadian Armed Forces keeps a routine watch over Canada’s air, maritime, land, and aerospace domains. Regina’s participation in Operation LIMPID will provide the maritime domain awareness component of this joint operation. The Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) role in Operation LIMPID strengthens continental defense and demonstrates Canada’s commitment to maintaining safety and security at home.
