HMCS Winnipeg Refuels from USNS Henry J Kaiser

 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 17, 2020) Members of Royal Canadian Navy ship HMCS Winnipeg (FFH 338) participate in a replenishment-at-sea with U.S. Navy fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) off the coast of the Hawaiian Islands during Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC). RIMPAC 2020 Participants Conduct Sinking Exercise

August 31, 2020 – Live fire from ships and aircraft participating in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise sank the decommissioned amphibious cargo ship ex-USS Durham (LKA 114), Aug. 30. RIMPAC 2020 Scheduled for Last Half of August

April 29, 2020 – The United States Navy will sponsor the 27th Rim of the Pacific exercise, Aug. 17-31. Hosted by Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, this biennial maritime exercise will be an at-sea-only event in light of COVID-19 concerns.
